Hotel Ulternhof of the Bertagnolli family in Val d'Ultimo in the Merano & environs region.

We are the Bertagnolli/Vicenza family: father Mariano, mother Ulli, brother Paul, and the children Daniel, Simon and Alex. Last but not least, Maria "Moidl", the good soul of our house.

We focus on a sustainable lifestyle in harmony with nature, and together we manage the traditional Hotel Ultnerhof and the adjacent farm. Ulli will look after all of your wishes, while Mariano has been looking after the culinary aspect of your holiday experience for the past 15 years. During his time off, he supports Paul on the farm, where our eldest son Daniel works too.

Part of the Hotel Ultnerhof family are eight yearlong and dedicated employees from Val d'Ultimo. In 1972, Ullis' parents opened the hotel together. Even as a child she helped everywhere in the hotel, and started to fall in love with this house more and more. Now, we can say that we might not be perfect, but we always do our best to make your stay exactly as you like it.
